Firefly Mountain is uniquely located in a historic area. The Mountain Park Hotel, once located in Hot Springs, was one of the most elegant resorts in the country in 1886, until it burned in 1920, never to be rebuilt. It had 200 rooms and the first organized golf club in the Southeast with a nine-hole course. Today at the Hot Springs Spa it continues to be a haven for those seeking the renowned healing mineral springs.
